COACH STEPHANIE is a certified Krav Maga Instructor by Hardline Krav Maga. Coach Stephanie was first involved with Hardline Krav Maga in June 2018 after taking a Women's Self Defense Seminar. She had already been exposed to Defense Tactics and Ju Jitsu, while training in the Massachusetts Trial Court (MTC) Court Officer Academy. This exposure lead her to train full-time at Hardline Krav Maga. Coach Stephanie has always been an avid athlete, running track and field throughout school, and later on for charity fundraisers. Her skills and teaching abilities as a Field Training Officer for the MTC makes her an asset not only to her employer, but to Hardline Krav Maga as well.
Coach Stephanie continuously trains to become more proficient in her teaching skills, and dedicates time into creating fun but intense workouts for our students. Coach Stephanie's passion for helping others learn to defend themselves comes from the community work she does with a non-profit organization called DC Empowering Children. This organization helps victims of sexual abuse or assault deal with their trauma through therapy and community outreach. Learning how to defend yourself and to always be alert is a part of what we teach here at Hardline. It is one of the many reasons why Coach Stephanie began training here. She wanted to give back to her community while helping to teach others that they do not have to become a victim.
